In a step aimed at raising environmental awareness and instilling a culture of afforestation in the rising generation, Al-Jeel Al-Waed School participated in a field event as part of the “Green Riyadh Initiative” in cooperation with the Riyadh Municipality.

A group of school children, wearing their uniforms and white caps, traveled by school bus to “Nira Garden.” There, the youngsters put on volunteer work vests and gardening gloves, enthusiastically planting flower seedlings and colorful plants in designated garden beds and green spaces with the assistance and guidance of work teams and supervisors.

This participation took place under the slogan “We Plant Today to Harvest Tomorrow… Together to Create Green Riyadh,” emphasizing the educational and social role of kindergarten and schools in integrating youth into major national initiatives that seek to improve the quality of life and increase green cover in the capital.
